Set up Account

1. Open the Venmo app. Tap the Sign Up with Email button at the bottom of your screen.

2. Enter your First name, Last name, Email, and Password in the respective fields. Then, tap Next at the upper right corner of your screen.

3. A set of written rules, license, and agreements will appear on your screen. This is optional to read. Then, tap Next on the bottom of the page.

4. Enter your phone number & tap Send Code. Wait for a verification code to be sent to your phone. Enter the verification code and proceed to the next page. This will take you to the homepage.

Add Payment

1. On the homepage, tap the menu icon on the upper right corner of your screen. In the menu, tap the Settings button.

2. Under Preferences, tap on Payment Methods.

3. Then, tap on Add bank or card…

4. You can choose to add Bank, Card, or an Amex Account. Choose one & follow the instructions for each payment method.

5. If you choose to connect with your bank, it is recommended to select Instant Verification as this speeds up the process.
